Výstava celoživotního díla Bohuslava Reynka (1892–1971), grafika, malíře, básníka a překladatele představuje chronologicky jeho dílo od raného expresivního projevu, přes první kresby a grafiky k typickému reynkovskému grafickému projevu cyklů Job, Don Quijote, Pastorale a dalších, až ke krajinným motivům z okolí domova a opakujícímu se tématu Ukřižování a Piety na sklonku Reynkova života. Poprvé jsou
k vidění některé neznámé Reynkovy kresby a grafiky, stejně jako desky a listy tvořené technikou cliché-verre. Výstava představuje v celistvosti Reynkovo dílo s otiskem rodného Petrkova a zázrak jménem tvoření, vznikající mimo proudy
a uznávané směry, zcela osobitě, v ústraní a v silném duchovním prostředí.

This major retrospective of the lifelong output of Bohuslav Reynek (1892–1971), printmaker, painter, poet and translator, presents a chronological survey of his work, from the early period characterized by expressive idiom, to the artist´s first drawings and prints, to examples of Reynek´s inimitably individual printmaking style, through landscape motifs of the countryside around his home, and the recurrent themes of Crucifixion and Pietà from the final stage of the artist´s life. Likewise on display here, for the first time in public, are some of Reynek´s previously unknown drawings and prints, as well as plates and sheets produced by the method of cliché verre. The exhibition brings a comprehensive overview of Reynek´s output bearing the imprint of his native village of Petrkov, charting the artist´s communion with the miracle of creation which bore its fruit away from the mainstream trends, in a thoroughly individual way, in seclusion, and in an atmosphere embued with spirituality.
